Make a Splash, Sponsor a Brick

Hello friends! Picture this: warm sunshine, laughter echoing, and our community kiddos making a splash in our revamped local pool. Sounds great, right? You can help make it happen. We're working to give our pool area long-needed upgrades and we need folks like you to pitch in.

We want you to be part of our poolside story. How? By sponsoring a personalized brick tile that'll go into our revamped concession area. You can have your name on it, a tribute to a special someone, or even your business logo (Hey local businesses, did you hear that?).

Let's Do It (again!) for the Kids

In 1993, the people of Brown County came together to do something special for our kids. We built Mt. Sterling's first swimming pool!

Our pool badly needs an upgrade. In addition to essential improvements to the pool and bathhouse, we're excited to be adding a zero gravity entrance to the wading pool, shade sails, fencing, lighting, an ADA lift, and a cool, new feature for our youngest community members: a splash pad!

As you might imagine, the price for materials and labor has gone up quite a bit since 1993. The projected total cost of the upgrade is 1.2 million dollars. Fortunately, we have received a $400,000 grant from the state of Illinois toward the effort. But that money needs to be matched, or we lose it.

We need to raise $400,000 by the end of July.

In order to help us get there, the Tracy Family Foundation is matching donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $150,000. That means if you donate $100, the Tracy Family Foundation will add $100! Let's take advantage of this special opportunity.
